About Me

I'm a twenty-something Colombian woman. I grew up in the United States, from age 8 to 15.

So, in a way, I'm also a twenty-something American woman.

I feel like a real-life cultural and linguistic hybrid. By that, I mean I can just as easily speak to you in fluent Spanish or (slightly midwestern) English, but sometimes I get my wires crossed.

I've always been a die-hard fan of books, words, and written self-expression, which is why, when choosing what to go to school for, I ended up a Literary Studies student in Medellin, Colombia. I focused on Hispanic American Literature during my university career, but have since switched tracks to other kinds of writing, mostly in English, about all kinds of things, from restaurant reviews, blogs, and newsletters to personal essays and rants.

I have dipped my toe in community management, creating communities of expats in Medellin, and studying the dynamic of online women's groups all over the world. One of my goals is to create small communities of creatives everywhere I go. Book clubs, I've found, are a great way of doing this.

I'm a Digital Nomad and I've traveled to a ton of countries in the past couple of years, but 2019 is the year of Vietnam!

Shoot me an email if you want to connect, I love hearing from people all over the world.
